I can never say I understand what you went through in the Legion, but I can say from my inside perspective of Regnum Christi that I have experienced much good. Any tough experiences I have had came through personalities and human frailties, nothing sinister, and the good has far outweighed the bad. I am not excusing any evil anyone has done, just relaying my own experience.

I never knew Fr. Maciel, never held him up as perfect, but I certainly admired him from all that I heard and read. It's unfortunate that so much good that was accomplished by him (for whatever reason God used him) are so tainted by the despicable things he did. I pray for his soul as he has much to be accountable for and I pray for all those he hurt terribly, there are many!

Thanks again for your honesty and charity. I think your book will be next on my reading list. God bless.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
