Just a quick note for Spanish language readers - a new website and blog for the Spanish version of my book is up and running.
The title of the book in Spanish is: "La historia de un Legionario de Cristo irlandés: De cómo encontró su corazón y casi perdió la razón."
It is available now on Amazon.com and soon at other outlets where fine books are sold.

It is unfortunate that "Driving straight on crooked lines" has been translated into Spanish as "The story of an Irish Legionary of Christ." This reminds me of the movie Rosemary's Baby; it was called in Spanish, "The seed of the Devil." Disappointing. Too obvious. I know today the word "Legionario" is a best seller in Spain and Latin America, but... Where is the poetry?
Bilingual Reader:
Point well taken! The name change was the Publisher's decision, based on aggressive input from Spanish speaking book distributors. Jason Berry's book, "Vows of Silence" was also renamed to "Legionario de Cristo." Probably for the same reason.
And the poetry? I think it is still there once you get past the cover! I'm very pleased with the Spanish translation - it was done in Buenos Aires - but I think it is faithful to "my voice." Thanks for the comment!
