One big difference...Very interesting perspective. <br /><br />One big difference I see between trapped miners and trapped LCs is that the miners, I'm sure, all want the same thing - to be rescued, as soon as possible. Among the Legionaries, I believe there are differing perspectives as to what constitutes "rescue". Some may want new leadership. Some may want all traces of the founder gone. Some may think they are ok just as they are, and cannot let go of Maciel as founder. <br /><br />For the rescuers, the task is monumental. How to sort out decades of financial records, of fraudulent use of donations? What is to be done to provide comfort and justice to victims? What to do about apostolic schools? What to do about RC "consecrated", which are not really consecrated at all in the eyes of the Church. What to do with all the apostolates? Which are the good fruits to be retained? How to purify the works so there won't be more harm done to souls? <br /><br />If i had to choose, I'd much rather attempt a rescue of trapped miners than trapped Legionaries!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
